Cost and contracts
How much do managed IT services cost?
The short answer
Managed IT is usually priced as a flat monthly fee, and four things drive where it lands: how many users you have, your compliance requirements, how many locations or remote workers you support, and the current state of your systems. We share exact pricing after an IT Risk Assessment, so the number reflects your business, not a generic tier.
What drives the price?
- Users. Most of the work follows people, not boxes.
- Compliance. Rules like the FTC Safeguards Rule or a Written Information Security Policy (WISP) add documentation and controls.
- Locations and remote staff. More sites and more people working from home mean more to secure and support.
- Starting point. Aging hardware or open security gaps may need one-time cleanup before steady-state management.
How do I compare two quotes fairly?
Ask what is not included. Per-incident charges, after-hours fees, onsite visit fees and project charges for routine work like new-laptop setups are where cheap quotes get expensive. Then compare total cost over three years, not the monthly line.
What is included with eTop?
Help desk, 24/7 monitoring, patching, Microsoft 365 administration, security operations center (SOC) monitoring with EDR, email security, security awareness training, compliance support, strategic planning, vendor management and onsite support as needed. The full list is on our pricing page.
How do I get an actual number?
