A keyboard shortcut is a combination of tow or more keys on your keyboard that combine to preform a function on your desktop computer. For example, if you use the combination Ctrl + A = Select All. You will select all of the text in a given document. Subsequently, if you then use the combination Ctrl + C = Copy you will copy all of the selected text. If you are looking to put that text into another document, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + V = Paste to put that text wherever you have selected your courser.
